I’m passionate about mentoring because I believe in the power of knowledge-sharing and community to drive systems change. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to work at the intersection of sustainability, circular economy, and youth empowerment—fields that are rapidly evolving and in need of diverse leadership. As the founder of Ananta Sustainables in Sri Lanka, I’ve seen firsthand how localized, impact-driven solutions can shift mindsets and reduce single-use plastic waste. Through initiatives like the UNDP Global Plastic Taskforce, the World Bank’s Youth Advisory Group, and my work with Southpole and EarthAction, I’ve built a deep interest in regenerative design, strategic systems thinking, and climate equity.
Mentoring allows me to support emerging leaders who are navigating these same spaces, offering insights from my experiences while learning from theirs. My focus is on guiding purpose-driven individuals working in sustainability, social enterprise, and climate innovation across Asia. I’m particularly interested in nurturing bold, intersectional thinking—whether in policy, design, or entrepreneurship—and creating space for new, resilient narratives. Through mentoring, I hope to amplify ideas that challenge the status quo and cultivate regenerative futures for our communities and ecosystems.
I aspire to be more like fungi; translating breath into life in a forest, conveying nourishment, exchanging information, an enabler and super highway of connectivity straddling multiple worlds and building bridges between unlikely groves of rooted trees. My work has always followed my passion, which roots in wild, living ecologies and spreads far and wide in an attempt to understand different perspectives; to sit in the belly of the beast and to understand how we as a species have found ourselves in this current predicament, and how we can unlearn and feel our way out.
