Hello, my name is Abedi Muange, and I’ve spent the past several years supporting startups across Africa in raising capital, refining strategy, and building investor confidence. I’ve co-founded and scaled ventures myself—so I understand the emotional and operational intensity that comes with building a business from the ground up.
I’m particularly drawn to mentoring because I know how much of a difference the right guidance can make in a founder’s journey—especially in the early stages when every decision feels existential. I’ve helped founders raise over USD 5M in equity and debt, and I’ve advised startups in agritech, mobility, education, and fintech and many other brick and motor companies.
My focus areas are fundraising strategy, investor readiness, pitch storytelling, and go-to-market execution. I’m deeply interested in working with founders in emerging markets—especially Africa—because I believe the talent is abundant, but structured support is often missing. I’m here to help bridge that gap with practical, founder-first mentorship.
I mentor because I’ve been a founder who needed guidance—and I know how powerful timely, practical support can be. I’ve seen talented entrepreneurs struggle not because their ideas were bad, but because they lacked access to experienced voices, honest feedback, or investor-facing clarity. Mentorship is my way of giving back, sharing what I’ve learned, and helping founders avoid the costly mistakes I’ve seen or made myself. It’s also deeply rewarding to watch an entrepreneur go from confusion to conviction—and know you played a small part in that progress. Mentorship, for me, is not about telling people what to do; it’s about walking alongside them, asking the right questions, and helping them build the confidence to lead.
